Southwestern Title & Escrow opened its doors in 1995 with a brown and beige logo that, much like our hair from junior high, seemed like a good idea at the time. In 2009, armed with an updated bright green logo that can’t be ignored, we began doing business in Rio Arriba County. In 2017, we opened our Albuquerque office. Nearly 30 years since our founding, we’re proud to say we’re licensed in Santa Fe, Rio Arriba, Bernalillo, Sandoval, Valencia, San Miguel, and Cibola Counties. We are agents for a variety of fantastic underwriters, including Alliant National, Chicago, Fidelity, First American, First National, Old Republic, WFG, and Westcor.

Our staff has many years of experience and includes over a dozen licensed escrow officers and title examiners as well as a licensed New Mexico attorney. We also have several dogs who get paid under the table in treats, for tax purposes.  Our office tends to take title seriously, but not ourselves, so in-office pranks are a common occurrence. We pride ourselves on being a company that is friendly to families and pets: We keep dog treats at the front desk and fresh cookies by the front door. (Our CEO has only mixed them up twice.) We also love to include both families and pets in our day do day activities and special events.

We are proud of how our locally owned title company has grown over the years, and excited to see what the future holds.
